⏱ Hard deadlines

Statutory dates that cannot be extended. Everything else is schedulable around these.

📅 The six open years

Last return filed was 2019. The IRS's own non-filer policy generally asks for the last six years — so 2020 through 2025 is the whole finish line.

    👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The household

One card per person on the 1040. A year box is green when a return for that year is on file, red when it is late and unfiled, amber when only paperwork is in. Click a year to open its documents.

    📑 Personal return history

Every 1040 / NJ-1040 the vault knows about, oldest first. Balances are what the state says is due today.

    📋 Return matrix

One row per entity × year × form. Generated from the entity registry — an entity formed after 2025-12-31 produces no rows.

    🏢 Entity registry

Formation date is the decisive field. It determines which years an entity owes a return at all — and it is how this project shrinks from overwhelming to finite.
Source of truth is the Companies registry (🏛 companies.html). Sync from Companies pulls every LLC in, matching by EIN or name, and derives a starting classification from ownership: Wilson 100% → disregarded (1040 Schedule C/E) · Wilson N% → partnership (1065 + K-1) · someone else on paper → not my return · brands without an EIN → DBA. Anything it cannot decide is left unknown for you to settle.

    ☑ Still needed

The checklist of what is not on file yet. Click any status to cycle it: needed → requested → received → n/a. Bank archive requests take weeks — start them before anything else.
Do this first: pull the IRS Wage & Income and Account transcripts for all six years before reconstructing anything from bank statements. They tell you what the IRS already thinks you earned — and whether it has filed a Substitute for Return against you, which would mean there is already an assessed balance computed with zero deductions and zero depreciation.

🧮 TaxLab — where the numbers land before anyone signs

Seven years computed in sequence from the validated bank + card warehouse: Schedule C per business, self-employment tax, the NOL carried from the S-corp years, QBI, brackets, the child credit, NJ and Ohio estimates, and what a late filing costs. Toggle wires in or out, edit any line, compare joint vs separate, then export the package for the CPA.

    🗂 Source data coverage

What raw material actually exists per year, audited 2026-07-29. This is the honest picture of how much reconstruction each year needs.
The LedgerCore general ledger holds 48,002 rows spanning 2025-01-01 → 2026-07-13 — and nothing before 2025. Every T-12, labor allocation and utility reconstruction built to date covers one of the six open years. The other five must be rebuilt from bank records and IRS transcripts.
